We are really excited to share the latest take on one of our classic credenza/media console designs. Here at Combine 9, we always strive to incorporate different interesting materials into our vintage industrial furniture, and we think copper is a logical step in that process. Raw steel meets the deep reddish-brown luster of copper in the newest addition to our catalog, the Copperfield. The contrast and combination of these two alloys recalls a time of early industrial design, when steam was king and metal was worked by hand over generations. The beauty of copper as it gradually tarnishes over time, which gives it an almost romantic quality as it matures alongside you and your family, subtly taking on new qualities and continually breathing life into the increasingly changing times. The Copperfield would fit beautifully with most urban loft furnishings, modern rustic style country homes, or that hip new distillery you’ve been trying to outfit. Made to recall times gone by, built to last a lifetime, The Copperfield is the perfect union of vintage and modern design, incredible quality and lasting grace.
The piece pictured is 58″L x 18″W x 24″H with a full back, two inner mesh doors, and a center shelf. The Copperfield is made with a raw steel frame, but can be reconfigured to fit your particular needs.
