Project Description

NOTE: We are getting low on this particular wood. Please check availability prior to purchase.

Here is a unique media console / TV stand (with a few modifications that could also be used as a buffet, a coffee table, a console table, or a sideboard).  It can be made in any size/configuration, but this one is 50″ x 20″ x 24″H. It was built with industrial vintage-looking casters but could be built with straight legs instead. The reclaimed wood boards are cut short and run across the top in a direction to bring out more variation in the colors of this unique, beautiful reclaimed wood.

This piece of industrial furniture has been made with an incredible reclaimed wood. The wood was reclaimed from a vintage barge in Mission Bay (San Diego). The barge was destroyed as a result of the 2011 Japanese Tsunami, but we were able to salvage some of the wood and we’re now making some incredible furniture with it.  The wood is limited, so be sure to inquire as to whether or not it is still available (We have other pieces including bookshelves, media consoles, bar carts, and coffee tables made with this amazing wood; feel free to browse our other pieces).

This piece can be made out of just about any of the woods we have available.  See our other items to choose the wood you would like.  We have several options for new reclaimed wood, and will always have a range from light to dark wood available.  The wood pictured was left unsealed but could be sealed if you prefer. Another option is to make it out of steel, like some of our other pieces. The configuration of the shelving can be altered, as well as the casters and cross braces. There are many options available for this piece, just let us know what you are looking for.

There are countless ways this piece could be used, but some include as a mobile coffee table, end table, sofa table, or even an aquarium stand.

Model: Coronado
Price as shown – $2,000.00

NOTE: The reclaimed barge wood will vary significantly and can have many imperfections in it, including, but not limited to nail holes, differences in texture, splits, cracks, etc. This is what gives it its natural beauty!
