Project Description

This vintage industrial lift-top coffee table also works as a decorative storage unit. The lower area has two mesh doors on one side that open into the lower space where you can keep books, tablets, toys, or remote controls. The opposite wall is mesh as well to give it some symmetry. The reclaimed wood top lifts up and out and would make a great informal dining area or workspace. Small items such as remote controls can also store under the top to de-clutter your living room or even to conceal your firearms.

The steel mesh, rivets, and brackets give the piece a more industrial look- but there are several options for customizing this piece to make it appear more modern or rustic depending on your preference. The back of this coffee table is a fixed mesh panel similar to the doors on the front (the back panel does not open). It could also be built with doors on both sides or no doors at all, leaving the lower area open (message us for pricing). We offer several shades of wood and varying degrees of distress for the steel patina. The reclaimed wood and steel coffee table pictured is 50” W x 23” D x 17” H when closed, with an open height of 24.5”, but can be made to your dimensions.*

To see a similar lift-top coffee table without the lower storage, see our Catalina model.
